Director-in-Residence
September 2024
Following a massively successful first collaboration with Small Beer Theatre Company, Madison was officially appointed the company's inaugural Director-in-Residence. They are so thankful to the wonderful team at Small Beer for granting them this incredible opportunity, and are so excited to get started on the next project. Stay tuned!
Transfer: Edward II
September 2024
Following a successful initial run at Camden Fringe, Small Beer Theatre Company's production of Edward II transferred to the Canal Cafe Theatre in West London.

Edward II: Camden Fringe
August 2024
Madison collaborated with Small Beer Theatre Company for their inaugural production: a four-person adaptation of Marlowe's historical queer tragedy. The show ran at the Courtyard Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.

Inferna: Developmental Reading
September 2024
In collaboration with Misplaced Theatre Co, Madison's original play Inferna received its first every public reading, directed by Amy Tanner, which sold out the Alma Tavern Theatre.

London Transfer: A Stan is Born
September 2024
Following a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe, Madison became sole director of A Stan is Born for its transfer to Camden People's Theatre, where it had a nearly sold-out run.

A Stan is Born: Previews
April-July 2024
Madison joined the small but innovative team on A Stan is Born, a one-man musical written and performed by Alexis Sakellaris, as assistant director for the show's London previews. These performances took place at the King's Head Theatre, New Wimbledon Theatre, Rosemary Branch, and the legendary Soho Theatre.

Ireland: Where Legend Lives
May 2024
Madison flew back to her hometown of Los Angeles to serve as assistant director to Oscar-nominated director and writer Kirsten Sheridan (In America, August Rush) on the premiere event for Ireland Week 2024. This concert showcase featured scenes and musical performances from Irish creatives both established and up and coming.
Inferna: Developmental Reading
March 2024
Through a collaboration with Misplaced Theatre Company, Madison's original play Inferna had its first ever formal developmental reading. Madison is thrilled to have connected with Misplaced, and is excited to announce the upcoming public workshop reading, taking place in September 2024 at the Alma Tavern Theatre.

A Stan is Born: Edinburgh Fringe
August 2024
For its month-long run at Zoo Playground as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Madison's responsibilities increased, now serving as co-director with Jesse Philippi.

Bronco Billy: The Musical
January-April 2024
Madison was thrilled to make her West End debut serving as Trainee Assistant Director to Hunter Bird (Beetlejuice US National Tour) and associate Amber Sinclair-Case (Six West End and UK Tour) on Bronco Billy: The Musical at the Charing Cross Theatre. The production starred Tarrinn Callender (Hamilton UK Tour), Emily Benjamin (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club West End), and 2x Olivier-nominee Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (In The Heights West End).

The Spirit Lock
November 2023-March 2024
Madison served as 1st AD and Unit Production Manager to award-winning director and cinematographer Steven Fierberg (Moulin Rouge, The Affair) on feature film The Spirit Lock, starring Joe Anderson (Across the Universe) and Yasmin Al-Khudhari (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder).
This film is currently in post-production.
Lioness: Workshop Readings
October 2023 - January 2024
Madison directed four workshop excerpt performances of Kate Coulson's one-woman show, Lioness, an epic tale about England women's football, in various London locations. These readings took place with Flat 4 Theatre Co, Sketchy Theatre, LAMDA, and Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Lioness is a work in progress currently planning a run at Edinburgh Fringe 2025. To hear more about this project, get in contact.
Shimmer
June 2023
Madison was honoured to serve as script supervisor and assistant stage manager for the premiere workshop of Shimmer, a new musical by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Anthony Davis, Tony-nominated lyricist Michael Korie, and Guggenheim Fellow Sarah Schulman.

Daughters of the Pirate Queen
March 2023
Her first professional directing and writing job out of university, Madison went straight to the big stage, working in collaboration with major Irish female artists and the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland to stage the story of one of the greatest Irish legends, Grace O'Malley.
